Hi! I'm Maria Banks
I'm a Northwest Arkansas REALTOR® who combines a global perspective, local expertise, and strong negotiation and communication skills to help my clients move forward with clarity and confidence.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and fluent in Spanish, I've also lived in Palo Alto, Denver, and Albuquerque, and I've been a proud NWA resident since 1986. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for community, resilience, and the courage it takes to start a new chapter — values I share with many of the clients I serve, especially the ones relocating from somewhere else entirely.
Before entering real estate, I worked in patient care and served as office manager for my husband's eye clinic and optical shop, as well as in customer service with Envoy/American Airlines. Those roles strengthened the qualities I bring to my clients today — attention to detail, compassion, professionalism, problem-solving under pressure, and the ability to communicate clearly and advocate for people during important moments in their lives.
I'm direct, and I won't tell you a house is perfect if it isn't — you deserve facts, not sales language, on a decision this size. I focus on first-time buyers and relocation clients, generally $200K–$700K, and my business is almost entirely referral-based, because people tend to send me their friends after we work together.
